Post Script is the ps full form. A post script (or afterthought) is a letter written to the reader of one’s own mail. Though it was originally intended for handwritten notes, its use has spread via email and other forms of electronic communication where recipients might not be able to discern tone or body language as easily in text form.

The term “Post Script” stands for an addition at the end that may add information on top of what you have already said about yourself such as your interests, hobbies, etc. something like this: Post Script- I am also interested in learning how computers work! It can make someone who receives it then feel engaged because they are more likely going to answer back with commenting their thoughts which would start off another conversation between two people.
