The Federation of Indian Chambers of Commerce and Industry (FICCI) is an India-based non-profit trade association and lobbying group. On the suggestion of Mahatma Gandhi, Indian businessmen Mr. G.D. Birla and Purshottamdas Thakurdas founded the company in 1927. It is India’s largest, oldest, and most powerful corporation.
